Solvang Autumn Double Century • Description

Solvang, the "Danish Capital of America", is one of the most popular cycling regions in California. The Solvang Autumn Double Century is one of two doubles in the area (the one with more climbing). The other event is held in spring.
On the way north to San Luis Obispo the ride visits Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, passes through Foxen Canyon, then visits Sisquoc, leads up Tepusquet Road, then visits Nipomo, and Arroyo Grande.
On the way south to Solvang the route visits Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Oceano, Callender, Guadalupe, Casmalia, Vandenberg Village, Mission Hills, Lompoc, follows Santa Rosa Road, and finally visits Buellton.
