Swamdo / Swami's Fondo

Swami's Fondo aka Swamdo is a late season club ride through North County San Diego. The ride starts at Alga Norte Community Park in Carlsbad and follows a figure eight loop with the center in Bonsall.

After passing through urban areas, the course climbs from Bonsall through Fallbrook into Rainbow. Then it descends Rice Canyon and ascends Couser Canyon (KOM), before following Lilac Road, Circle R Drive, and Camino Del Rey back into Bonsall.

The ride then climbs through Fallbrook again and follows Sleeping Indian Road, North River Road, and College Boulevard into Oceanside. From here it leads along the coast through Carlsbad to La Costa Avenue in Encinitas. Rancho Santa Fe Road, Melrose Drive, and Poinsettia Lane finally loop back to Alga Norte Community Park.
