Goat Canyon Trestle • Description

Located east of San Diego near Jacumba Hot Springs, Goat Canyon Trestle is the world's largest wooden trestle. The bridge was built in 1932/33 and is 600 feet long and 200 feet high.
This ride starts on Carrizo Gorge Road, off Interstate 8, and gradually leads down Carrizo Gorge. It follows Carrizo Gorge Railway and passes six trestles and 15 tunnels (light required).
Anza-Borrego Desert can be very hot, but the tunnels are nice and cool.
