Solvang Spring Double Century • Description

Solvang, the "Danish Capital of America", is one of the most popular cycling regions in California. The Solvang Spring Double Century is one of two doubles in the area (the one with less climbing). The other event is held in fall.
On the way north to Morro Bay the ride visits Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, passes through Foxen Canyon, then visits Sisquoc, Santa Maria, Nipomo, Arroyo Grande, and San Luis Obispo.
On the way south to Solvang the route visits Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Oceano, Callender, Guadalupe, Orcutt, Los Alamos, passes through Drum Canyon, and finally visits Buellton.
